Making Room: Acceptance II

Another process of accepting a challenge ahead of you is to "make room."  Making room means that you need to find the time in your schedule for the creative process.  It means taking stock of your priorities.  If you are prone to biting off more than you can chew, like me, its important to consider your priorities and check to see if there is sufficient space to fit another project in your life.

In my journey through the creative problem solving process, I have devoted one hour a day to the my involvement with this project.  Some of this involves blogging or reading more material about creative problem solving.  For instance, tonight I want to spend some time to further understand "Synectics".

If you are also starting a project, consider to set your priorities before starting your journey.  Making room means 1.) developing a chart of your hourly time commitments per week; 2.) creating an estimate of the time and energy needed for the project, and 3.) plan how the two will work together.  When your schedule work together, accepting a problem becomes easy.
